Great work as always Tony. The figure looks superb in a natural setting.
Good luck with the auction for the trust. Hope you help raise lots of dollars.
Peter.

Thanks Peter, I appreciate your comments and I hope the figure raises some decent coin.

Cheers John. I welcome your comments mate.

Hi Chris, thanks so much for your help in gaining access to the regiment's museum. It was a turning point in the journey to realise this project and take it to the next level. Hopefully the boys will dig deep to bid on it and some one will put this in pride of place in his home.

Well this is a long overdue update. Tonight my SASR figure was auctioned for $1500 at the annual dinner of the SAS Resources Fund and was purchased by the brother of an Australian SAS member who was KIA in Afghanistan. It’s almost 2 years since I started this project and tonight was the conclusion to a labor of love that will help raised much needed funds to support widows and orphans of serving members of the SASR who died on active duty. The new owner is going to treasure this figure for the rest of his life. Im pretty stoked and humbled by how well this turned out. 9231C61F-6E66-4F66-B24E-D0521310F4ED.jpeg

“We are the Pilgrims, master; we shall go Always a little further; it may be Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow,
Across that angry or that glimmering sea.''

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew,
to serve your turn long after they have gone,
and hold on when there is nothing left in you
except the will which says hold on.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds worth of distance run,
then the earth and everything in it is yours, once more.
Then you will be SAS my Son.
RIP.
Fair play Tony.
