Mmmmm not a baguette .....maybe a French pastry ...lol

Could be the feather or the lion perhaps ..I have the details see where just can't put my hands on it ...you could leave it off !

PS is there a regiment in the text of the book ?

Just a small request guys - does anyone out there have any pics or info as to what the small brass badge is on the collar of the cazadores, please? I cant seem to find any details of what it looks like and the pic is a bit indistinct,

The collar badge was that of the regiment. Usually a letter or nothing at all.
The Cazadores badge was the buglehorn on the chaco.

Alll those badges are from Cavalry. Cazadores de Olivenza was a light Cavalry Regiment.
 
Thank you Diegoff - I have sculpted a stylised letter for the collar and will post some pics soon, as I am almost ready to prime this up.
