I just cleaned the apartment but I need a table, chair and lighting for the room so if you live in an apartment where did you get everything a person needs for the hobby ? P.S. also what type of lighting do I need for figures?

As regards lighting! 'Daylight bulbs', would be the best choice! As regards, Table and chair! .. whatever is the most comfortable for you! .. I like to swivel and move around! so I use a high back computer chair
! ..... The table? depends upon whatever space you have! however, you need to remember storage as well! ;)

Regards,

Mark

right now I still getting over the fact that my apartment is clean because the only other person who spoke English only is gone she left out telling me that she was leaving

Mark,

I don't think everyone knows you or your situation. A lot of the time when some one expresses something personal like you did it is taken as a joke. Remember to try and stay on the subject of your question.

Hi Mark,

I can recommend this lamp from Coopers of Stortford (I think that's the town!) but personally I use a lamp I got from Sphere (Jon Page) is the owner and on PF (have a look at Stelios's review of his stands as well!)

A desk from a friend for me as long as you are comfortable but a well known Swedish company do some good stuff , same goes for a chair (I have a soft cushioned version ....as I tend to work for a long session)

Hope this helps please do pm me if you wish .

Take it easy at least you don't look like me (cue my Avatar!)

Nap

PS The cute little lady does not come with the lamp!

thank you both but here in the states can I find a Swedish chair and I was told to get the table first then the chair and lighting also is there a energy saving bulb that I can use for the hobby ?

Mark the chair Nap mentioned comes from the Swedish company called Ikea. They have stores in Brooklyn & New Jersey.
I would suggest getting the table & chair at the same time so that you can be sure they are at a comfortable working height for you. Remember you'll probably spend many hours at a time working at that table.

Hope that helps.
Geoff
