Thanks Simon
It's really therapeutic, to browse around the figure and add extra tones and grubbiness to it.
It would have been even nicer if one of the greaves (I checked the terminology) was a different design...

Yes I agree but you can still paint them differently, add a gilt trim to one maybe. I don't think other than in flats I've ever painted a medieval figure, plenty wearing armour as 28mm fantasy mini's though.

Cheers Simon

Carpel tunnel syndrome.
Great.
Really good news.

I know I liked this post but crap nothing to like about that. Wrist splints and Tiger Balm help a little, but I hope this isn't long term, just a temporary flair up. Both hans or just your dominant hand, not that it makes much difference? Take care bud.

Cheers Simon

Hi Simon
Just the right one. I found some stretching exercises online that hopefully will help.
Stupid bloody admin job, it's causing loads of problems.
How is your hip?

Hope the exercise does the hand some good, medical supports also help.

I laid awake for ages, the pain woke me up and wouldn't let me get back to sleep so I was up and pottering around on my bench at 0400hrs, so pretty crappy really. Will see what the surgeon says tomorrow.

Cheers Simon

Best of luck, I hope you get sorted tomorrow. And can have some kip today.

Every single meeting and "catch-up" I have to endure.

He really is coming along nicely, the cowl is looking care worn and comfy, going to be quite striking when done. Love it.

Cheers Simon or should I say aye aye!

Hi.
When Serega the Italian presented this work several years ago, I saw the distorted, scarred face of this colorful character. I think these scars need to be emphasized somehow. I think it's possible, although I don't know which end to take the brush from.
