Another tone of flesh shading. Not terribly well represented in this photo.

Yeah, perhaps the right side with the scar.
I'll have a go.

It was actually warm in there today. Yesterday's new chilblains are hopefully the last before the autumn.

Oh how you suffer for your art, that's true dedication. It best had start getting warmer though, daffodils and crocuses are flowering and there's blossom on some trees.

Cheers Simon

He's starting to look more like Sylvester Stalone at the mo, a bit of colour to his cheeks might be good.

Cheers Simon

I wish I'd gone ahead with the original idea of making his hair grey.
Too late now. And an old fella wouldn't be a mercenary, then or now.

No probably nor but old in that profession and in those days is all relative. You could glaze in successively lighter shades of grey around his temples, a bit of salt and pepper look.

Cheers Simon

Thank god it's Friday...

Sublime... utterly gorgeous.
If I could go back in time, it would be to 1980, to see this gang of heroes live again.

So good, they make me cry sometimes.

Next week we're off to Wembley Arena to so Judas Priest, Saxon and Uriah Heap, bloody auto correct changed all the band names, stoopid modern technology.

Cheers Simon

Good progress on this one, he is starting to look the part. I agree with Simon, some subtle reddish glazes in a few key parts would help warm him up a bit. He would be pretty ruddy given the amount of time he would have spent outside.....
