I've just found a picture of a Hood's Brigade color bearer from an UK-based re-enactment group. The flag lacks the battle honors, but it's very inspirational anyway..

Great work. The grey turned out excellent (a hard colour to work with) and the brown plaid blanket looks fantastic as well. I'm usually not a fan of busts but somehow, this one really gets me.

Superb Gerard. My only minor critique is that I don't like the flags upper fringe standing up defying gravity. But maybe at the trot....or artistic licence. But the painting could not be better and a superb idea.
