Hi Ron,
Great start. Steve Kirtley had one of these with him at our last club meet and it's an impressive piece of resin, so I know where you are coming from with regards to the ergonomics.
cheers

Hi Ron
Coming on nicely , think I will be mounting my elephant on a base first and then going tongue gym
Following with interest it's a great SBS

Each time I hold it I am taken aback by how much resin must have gone into this piece!
Cheers for comment mate.
You might want to rethink mounting it on it's base to paint....I looked at all the options before I started....and...although it seems a good idea...consider not only how you will get to all the areas of the head...but also...given that it is hard to handle already....add what will be a fair sized base to it...and it increases the difficulty even more....a hard choice.
Glad your following it's progress mate.
Ron
That's lookng brilliant I am going for the same effect ..yours is coming on great , love the ears and the tusks

Thank you so much.

Wow....That IS a beast in more ways than one, and the trunk isn't even on yet....You may need a bigger base. That one is very tempting but maybe too late. I guess digital does have its place. I like my crow breaded and deep fried. Looks great Ron.
