Not sure how I missed this thread, but I am glad I found it. This looks like a really interesting project. I will be following.

Wow a lot of work, to be fair some of the gaps are pretty standard for resin figures but the sextant figure is truly awful. Also missing bits isn't good on their quality control, though there are a lot of bits, still if they produce a complex kit they should live up to it. I see what you mean though about the general detail, issues aside they are lovely figures. Good luck sorting out their deficiencies and looking forward to seeing them.painted.

Looks like he has had his wrist torn away from his arm

Hi there Ross
Really good updates on this , great to see such detailed construction text , with all the areas needing attention highlighted
Looking forward to seeing more on the figures etc and to hear your thoughts and picture on the bust .....possibly think about a review on it ?
It’s going to be even more of a interesting journey
Happy benchtime

Interesting that the same figures are different depending where they come from, must mean they each make their own molds from a master figure. The sextant I take it fit the sleeves of the figure properly. Looking forward to the evolution of this.

I never would have thought the quality would have been so bad from Scale. Platforms missing (does look snapped off right) , caps missing, elusive railings and all. Eek.
Just aswell you are handy with a scalpel blade and patching etc!
All the woes aside it's coming together nicely mate . Interesting reading.
The figures on the cork. Are they just superglued there when you paint them or pinned?
