I couldn't believe the quality issues with some of the Scale75 items.. This was unacceptable and I will be emailing them as this is not the norm for them.

Yes the figures on a cork are glued as I've done it both ways by pinning & gluing and what I like best it gluing them.

Thank you for the kind words as its been progressing nicely and now my next post is the update.

It's been a buys one this past week as my wife just had her 39th birthday and then xmas items.
A belated happy birthday to Mrs Duvall!

Handy tip that with the corks going to grab myself some. Maybe supergluing a 2p at the bottom of the might give them some nice weight. I'd be worried of knocking them over too easily. Clutz.
Or just make some sort of holder like you have

Thank you everyone!

Yes, major progress has been made and more work with the sea scape is this next update.

This specific post shows what the sea scape looks like with a coat of still water from Vallejo on it then a coat of Atlantic Sea FX from Vallejo.

It is coming along nicely as I now have the conning tower mounted on the base and applied another layer of the Diorama FX sculpting the waves into the ship.

This was one of the most challenging parts of the build is when to time putting the conning tower on the base and how to sculpt the waves into the conning tower.

The next step is letting this dry for about a week then more wave sculpting. Once all of the base wave sculpting is completed to the conning tower, then the conning tower will start getting all of the detail painting completed.

While this dries, now its on to working on the figures more.

Thank you everyone! Time for this past weeks updates the blend in the conning tower to the base.

I still have more finish sculpting to do on the waves but this got the conning tower in position, water in position to the conning tower, and added some depth to the waves.

I did work on figures this past week but it was with the Ernie Plie Bust and another bust concept thread I need to start.

Finally got the first watch officer thread launched and updated the Ernie Pile bust thread. I did work on figures this week but it was for those two projects.

Plus I received this really cool warrior bust I was going to write a review thread on.

I usually reply to each response and will tomorrow. Thanks again for taking the time to read.

Also on a side note, the mentors I would like to thank are Luc Klinkers, Roger Hurkmans, Adam Wilder, Scott from the MMFS club, and many more.

Yeah man this is looking great. The water is on point. I guess it can be easy to go too blue but this looks like real depth. Nice one.
