a figure done for the World expo auction

a flag bearer of the 21st demi-brigade during the 1st italian campaign of Napoleon.
The 21st fought at the battle of Montenotte between Piemonte and Liguria
is a conversion of an old sculpture made by Pier Sergio Allevi and depict the soldier as in the beginning of the campaign where the soldiers were in very poor conditions.
doesn't wear an uniform but civilian cloths with some military piece.

he still needs some touch here and there

very nice figure.
Wonder what colors you are using for a white horse.
I stripped a white horse for the second time. I can't make a choice. I see alot of beautifull painted horses, but it is not given to me to paint one.

hi Marc
don't worry... I have the same problem. the choice is always difficult but the solution is to proceed in stages and correct the parts we don't like with patience and following instinct.

here we are closed at home since a couple of weeks and I discovered that I search news in planet as a way to escape from my prison...

also if this thread is base ìd on the actual and last year I hope that a good idea is to share some pictures of oldest figures... let me say that is a little bit narcissistic but I hope that can be a good second for any figures fan

tell me what do you think, I'm open to any possibility

I’d certainly like to see more of your figures too, Ivo. Seeing the work of masters like you on this site definitely brightens up my days at the moment.

As Nap says, stay safe & best wishes to you & your family.

Chris.
