Hi Kev,
Nice work, :) I did mention the knot.
Also the sash seems to be worn differently for us RM Drum Majors as we have the front tassel (closest to body) inside the kicking strap.
Keeps it nice and smart :)
Great work mate an look forward to more.
Best wishes

While I have limited interest in the modern guards, I am following this quite closely as I am really enjoying your attention to micro detail. You are completely insane Kevin and I love it.

That's nice Mike, I know he is guards but hope he isn't tick-tocking though lol :)
Rest is very nice.
Best wishes

isn't tick-tocking though

This pose was taken directly off another photo. His right arm is swinging back as his right foot is swinging forwards, but I may adjust the arm just so as not to disgrace the senior NCO within the Brigade of Guards. How about a RN/RM colour party in 120/150/200mm from CGS??

Mike

I know Mike, I was just kidding. I have plenty of pictures that capture that moment in time exactly as you say. If you didn't know you would think it was tick-tocking but it's just photo timing.
Yes Mike, I sent you that picture a while back and considering the pair, Guards and RM Officers with colour, I thought 90mm maybe in keeping with the traditional scale but 120mm would be just as nice.
All the best

Hi Kev I've been sitting back and watching this project and I
Really like how it's going so far lovely work pal !
Good luck with it

I have a few friends who are ex -Guards (wooden tops), who would love this. Excellent job Kev.
In for the this one.

Regards

I have re-worked the right arm so as not to embarass our friends and colleagues in what Graham (as ex Senior Service) may regard as a more junior service! I am part way through the sword now and wll post when the figure is finished.

Hi Mike ,

Not hijacking at all always good to see this sort of response

That looks really good with the arm position moved ...can you post any pictures of the way the scabbard is attached to the waistbelt if possible .

This is a big kit and will look great painted .
