Hello friends,

here some pics of an ACW medical cleaning his tools.
The sculptor is my friend Greg Girault(Mister Greg).
The sculpt is nearly finished.

As you can notice there is a candle on the table (not finished). So I will have a good alternative painting for this figure....cant wait

Beyond the excellent figure sculpt, I think the most evocative part of the whole vignette is the empty boots and shoes scattered on the floor - I find them even more chilling than the bloody saw he's cleaning ! It's a great example of thoughtful, artful composition.

I really like this piece. Perfectly posed and somber. The equipment on the ground speaks volumes. Also as I said before, a subject hardly embraced, which is refreshing. Jean Paul your title for this thread is quite lighthearted, even though this piece is quite serious and thought provoking. Can't say enough good things about it!
