Is the sheild resting on the steps that the figure will be walking up? If so those are fantastic and very realistically aged (almost as good as the shield), man this is going to be a really cool finished figure. I hope to see completed pictures of this awesome figure.

The shield is awesome Hardy. Nice muted colors that give it a worn, faded appearance, as if it's been handed down from father to son over several generations. I also like the way you've defined the muscles and veins in the right forearm.
