Howdy all,

This was (to the best of my recollection), my 2nd attempt at painting with oils so, it goes back to the late 70s. It's about 100mm and made of lead, but I just cannot remember the manufacturer or sculptor. I believe there should be a saber on his left hip, but its long gone. I had given it to a good friend of mine and after many years on his shelf, he returned it to me.

Anyone out there remember this guy?

Thanks,
Joe

He looks familiar, like something I saw in an ad in "Military Modeling" or "Campaigns", back in the day, but I can't quite place him.

I have some issues of Campaigns stashed away somewhere, but I figured it would be easier to ask you guys than to go hunting in a hot garage :D!

Wow, this shows how spoilt we are with super sculpts today...
I wasn't even into figures then (or I just was, if you count LEGO figures).

I don't mind the old figures, but my ends are a little different. I love old Staddens, Monarch, Imrie/Risley, Rose, etc.

Prost!
