Hello All,

Just finished painting this dude. And if I may "toot my own horn", the pic's do not do it justice. I would have taken closer pic's of the tri-color trim (sorry Dani A.) but in this scale, a close-up, would not be very pleasing to the eye. It looks much better to the naked eye.

Thanks Dani for the uniform information! :)

Jason, I am a big fan of "zouaves". I really like the pose, you really did a nice job putting action into the figure. I really like it. Well done! Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks Olly, Bob and Terry. It was a blast to build and paint but was also an exercise in patience. There was ALOT to paint! Much more work than I thought. Not totally satisfied, but pleased.

omg! i really love it Jason. I'm reading these days the Military Modelling Masterclase from Bill Horan and i really find your sbs very similar and very very helpful... one day I hope I can try it myself :) You have a fan here.

May I know your next project?

Cheers

As far as my next project...I'll have to wait till my head stops spinning! Too many ideas going on in there.

Toot away Jason! You deserve it. That's the best piece you've done to date. A beautiful job from beginning to end.

Hi Jason

again, another inspirational piece. Cool to post the original manequin and reference artwork for the piece as well.

I agree in that I believe this is your best piece to date.

:)

Jason, Excellent my friend. Take a much deserved break, you've cranked out quite a bit in a short amount of time. I look forward to seeing these figures at the show.~Gary (y)

Jason,

I really love how you touched the peaks of highlights with a bright highlight. It makes the figure POP! and come to life.
Excellent work!
Lou
