This is my first conversion. It is easy but enough for me at this time. I am adding some changes in the uniform in order to convert a Hecker&Goros french napoleonic geographer into a Royal Spanish Engineer. The conversion was made mainly in the collar and jacket

Hey, that is pretty cool, Rafa.

This is the type of conversions I am interested in trying myself, so more posts as you progress would be appreciated.

Rafa, Nothing wrong with startingoff with a simple conversion. The only comment I have regards the buttons. They look "pressed" into the putty. There are a few other techniques that you could use to make your buttons look like they are sitting on top of the garment rather than sunk into it.~Gary

Thank you to everybody. I am trying to get something like the image attached.

Gary, You are in true. Perhaps I must try another trick for getting the buttons. Perhaps I have time in order to correct it. I´ll try to get some buttons for putting them on the correct place.

Thanks again,

Rafa

Hi all. As Gary advice me I tried to do the buttons again. I note the old buttons are very usefull for placing the new buttons. These are the results:

very easy Marc. I used the cap of a bottle of wine and make the buttons pressing with a retractable pen. Then I use cianocrylato in order to fix each button in its correct place.
