Try a drop of Windex into your mix. The mild detergent in it helps to reduce any watermarks. RWD

    Help with pitting on figure

Hi David The Mister Surfacer is a good idea. Sometimes I mix some Magic Sculpt and water into a slurry and brush on and into the pits and sand it off later. Be careful when you sand it off, whatever filler you use. I've exposed pits and holes that were under the surface by sanding to deep. Rhodes

Cool-Mini-Or-Not sells a 5-minute epoxy putty https://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/tools-and-misc/instant-products/instant-putty.html I've never tried it and don't know it's properties. I'm not sure how you can mix and sculpt something in 5 minutes but maybe it can be mixed with a regular putty to...

Figure painting: What DON'T you enjoy?

I hate cleaning seam lines on really delicate areas like folds at the elbows, braid, hair or... FACES! Even worse, finding a seam I missed on a primed and half-way painted figure. RWD

    Painting DVD

I have the disk, too. The chapters on color theory and light and shadow are worth the price for me. Number of projects?

[COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue] My vote was that I work on more than 1 figure at a time. That's true, but I usually concentrate on 1 figure. I always have a few figures "in the background" that I'm cleaning, prepping, priming, basing etc. and I usually have a few Rackham fantasy figures...

    Problem Painting Metal Warhammer Figures

Home Depot has a spray primer made by Rust-o-leum called "Painter's Choice". Is leaves a very fine coat. And its CHEAP, around $3.00 for a large can. The primer comes in 3 colors white, a darkish gray and black. I use the white because it doesn't "dull out" the colors painted over it. RWD
