Nice progress on the figure.

So sorry to hear the news on your dog too, they become members of the family, and when they aren't well, you worry about them deeply.
I do hope the vet can do something.

Thank you both for your kindness……….I’ll be distracting myself with church in the morning and plane tree camo in the afternoon!!……got to just keep going!

Best of luck with the trip to the vets. It's so hard dealing with illnesses in our pets because they become such an important part of our family.

That's a fine looking pal, Dave. Hang tough, Brother, hang tough. We've buried over 15 pets on cemetary hill in the 21yrs we've been here, and everyone of them was part of the family. When ya have a lot of animals that happens from time to time and it's alway a tough one for me personally, cause I'm the one who takes em to the Vet.

Figure work is looking really good, I like the color tones, Bro.

Thanks Steve

Ive toned down the contrast slightly but not done much more than that……..Teddy now needs an emergency eye operation this Friday (£2000) The vet said he was 90% certain the gum tumours were benign but I’m not convinced and they will do some tests. We do not have children so our dogs are our kids so to speak, therefore it’s all the more painful to see him suffer. Thanks for dropping by buddy.

Hi Dave

So sorry to hear about the dogs , fully understand your feelings , thinking of you both

As for the figure ...great to see such care on the base and the work involved , liking the way you are painting this definitely going to look great

Look forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Ouch, vet bills always hit hard. My remaining Jack Russel cost somewhere between £400 & £500, with an ear infection and all the meds. Turned out she'd developed an allergy to chicken, once I stopped feeding her that it pretty much cleared up by itself, poor thing still scarpers if I head to the medicine cabinet! They are an integral part of the family though, often more cherished than the kids, dogs don't want picking up from the pub at 0200hrs. Hope all goes well for him.

Cheers Simon
