Primed the horse with Vallejo brush on primer.
Added the horse reins using lead foil and buil up the housing ( mantel) and pistol pouches.
Still need to fix some areas before i apply more primer.

So, i've learned that all musicians from the Household Guard rode in Buckskin Horses, some illustrations look like they are white, but i can see how that can be confusing.
Here is an excerpt from Kronostaf Image 1
I am using this picture as reference
I am using Pro Acryl Golden Brown and a dab of Vallejo Iraqui sand as a base.
More likely i will use a little bit of earth or umber for shades and lots of offwhite for lights.

Nice colours for a horse, they are rather striking in that colour and will stand out nicely on the diorama.

Finished the horse saddle and cloth.
For the blue take a look atthe 1st pic.
For the silver white lace i've use the usual, vallejo Metal medium , vallejo silver grey and Army painter Chainmail silver.

Horse is done except hair,
I am letting the figure rest and paint to cure a little before i move into lights on the horse hair.

I've found this little fella inside my grey army box, i knew he was somewhere.
He look rather odd, i know it is that breed bit i'd much rather have some other than this, still will go on the vignette.

And time to start working the trumpet.
The one's i've got are very short and from another era, but i clipped right next to the hand, drilled a hole with one of the smallest drill bits , added a piece of wire and magic sculpt around it to increase size, then glued the end.
