Hi Daniel

Easy way for the Regt to distinct the separate company , out of interest what were the others ?

Nice work on the belts and sword addition ...do hope that sword can be removed from scabbard ....lol

Great figure my friend

Thanks for sharing the updates

Happy benchtime

Kev,
The most senior company of the Lifeguards was:

1st company , Scottish company
White belts with silver trim.

2nd French company
Blue belts with Silver trim.

3rd French Company
Green Belts with Silver Trim.

4th French company
Yellow Belts with Silver trim.

Cheers!

The belts are done, adding a piece of wire that i bent in order to make the pistol and built the pouch with greenstuff.

The foot figure is almost done,
I was not happy with the belt holding the sword, so, i took it all off, sanded and cleaned the area.
Re-painted the blue and part of the lace.
Added the new belt with lead foil and positioned the sword , i wasn't very happy with the previous positioning of it.
Now i think it looks much better.
I added a folded piece of paper using lead foil on the left hand.
The scene i have pictured in my head is that the foot Guard is bringing sealed orders to the officer holding the company's standard.

Hi Daniel

Thanks for info ref companies

Like the clever way you are making , no doubt there’s more details coming

Must admit the new belt looks super

Liking the story you’ve got in your mind for these 2 figures

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Looking good, really like how you did the pistols, the simplest way is often the best way. Not sure I'd be comfortable adding that much fresh putty to an already painted figure, but it worked well.

Cheers Simon

Thanks Kev,
I am planning to add a Colonel ( foot figure ) from the Scottish Company with his superb laced uniform having a chat with a Noble lady and a civilian gentleman while these guards go about their business.
Also a Trumpeter will be included.

Hey Simon,
Adding the putty after the figure is painted is more me rushing to do paint than technique.
It is not a big deal as long as i am careful not to ruin the paint job.
Cheers!

Hi Daniel

He’s a great example of your skill in the hobby , very colourful and well painted

Question if I may ...did they have musket slings ?

Thanks for the update
