Hi Mike,

Absolutely my favourite kind of figure conversions. Beautiful!

Rgds Victor

Mike,

love your work ! They're so lifelike. Don't look like the rigid Historex models at all.
It's hard to determine what's converted into what. Any W.I.P-pictures?

Cheers, Eric

Have to say that these are some of the finest Historex coversions I have seen in some time. Makes me want to pull my box full of the "old (white styrene plastic)" kits out of the closet and start anew. Thanks for the inspiration.

Have to agree with the above, you have done a fine job on all aspects of the conversion and painting, a fine collection.

Cheers
Tommi

Mike, Man, you have some very nice looking Historex pieces. Great job! Hope to see them one day in Atlanta, GA.

Appreciate you posting!

Hi Mike
very nice works: I am also a Historex fan and I used to build my napoleonic conversions and all kinds of Victorian soldiers with horses. You my see my gallery at the Historex web page.

Pete

Great to see these and a throw back to the early days when this was the way forward and Historex castings were way more advanced than anything in Metal. Your work is proof of the timeless possibilities offered by this medium really nice to see.

Brilliant stuff indeed. ah for the days when M.M. was full of these type of things

Could not agree more - seems today most folks seem far too comfortable painting the next resin masterpiece. Such a shame, there's so much more in this world of figure making to enjoy.
