Hi Taff,
Great project and a fitting tribute(y). What is the maximum width you have to get MONMOUTHSHIRE on the shoulder flashes? I might have a solution for you.
cheers
Richie

Richie what size solution do you have in mind? I've not sculpted the shoulder flashes yet but I could do them to suit.
Cheers

Hi Jim,
Actually you may need slightly less as the lettering is curved, let me go and try something and I will post you an image just now.
cheers

Hi Jim,
What about this as a solution, it is from Slater's 2mm letter and numbers range, generally used by railway modellers. I have used them for my band on my Naval figure and have used them as shoulder insignia, they work pretty well, a little fiddely to line up and they can be pressed into your putty so they are just slightly raised. Then you have something with excellent uniformity and a guide for painting. Sorry did not have enough "H"'s but you get the idea and scale from the cutting mat.
cheers
Richie
