Hi Chris.
Painting miniatures is harder than it seems, and being your second, this goes very well. Try to see in your head where are the plains of light and shadow. This is the first step to improve. You can put a light over the head of Blucher and watch them, or make a photo to use it as reference to paint. For example, the blue light at the zone over the lower button is out the the plain of light, too much extension in the way of the button. And at the shoulder, the zone receives more light. My english is not as good as i want, and maybe may explanations are not clear. Ask what you want, ok?
And now i ask. What brand is this Blucher?

Thanks all , not done anything on it for a few days, been busy with other stuff. Will have another go with flesh colours and the coat, see what happens.
The figure is one from CGS miniatures, they did a set at a cut price so got the set.
Chris.
