This mornings progress,

Tartan painted,

While waiting for colours to dry I used the Citadel washes to give the epaulets, buttons, medals and badges some definition, also around the collar, I gave the sash another coat of crimson.

That's it for today, the rain has stopped and the sun is out so out into the garden.

Cheers

Many thanks Nap, sadly it will not be ready for for Yeovil but I think I will bring it as a WIP.

My couple of boxes are all packed awaiting transfer to the car this evening, shame the weather looks a bit naff, still life must go on.

See you tomorrow.

After a break from painting yesterday as I was exhibiting a few of my busts with Nap, Jimbo and the others at Yeovil Model Show I have done a bit more to him this morning before lunch.

Another Nuln Oil wash over the Bonnet and Tartan, badges, medals and epaullettes given a light going over with some metallics and a couple of light washes of scarlet over the tunic.
Will leave to dry now as Sunday lunch smells as if it is nearly ready.

Excellent Geoff, I will be around in a minute. I don't mind sitting in the corner for dinner.:ROFLMAO:
The bust looks very nice with a clean painting style. well done.

Hi Geoff

That's coming on well since I saw it at the show .....said it before but that fleshwork looks great

Happy benchtime

Nap

Thanks Nap, it's surprising how much small detailing can be done in a morning, yes, I really am pleased with the face but the way it was sculpted certainly does help.

Cheers mate
