This was a challenge but I think it's coming together...I think. The pictures make it look a tad bit lighter that it really is.

Thanx for the nightmares Rusty:eek:

The longer I stared at the profile... the more I got the feeling this guy was gonna suddenly turn his head and look at me!! And he don't look happy!

That's gotta be the most lifelike and creepy looking skin paintjob I think I've ever seen.

Congrats... and thanx again for the nightmares I'll be having tonight. :(

Crap, enough to give the kids nightmares, lol. Ya, the translucent affect came across very well. This is lookin great.

Cheers, Ski.:D

Love it, looks very realistic for a night creature that doesnt see the light of day. Would like to hear how you did it and what scale the bust is. You make these fantasy creatures look awesome

Rusty, you da man! The translucent quality is perfect! Lovely, albino, cave dwelling, pinkish paleness! Not that I have any permission to add anything, but when I look at him I want to see all sorts of veins and under-skin muscley bits through his translucent dermis. Especially in the ears where there's much thinner bits. Get on that will ya....LOL!!!!

Thanks for the compliments guys. The resin is actually translucent and VERY tricky to paint. The piece is 1/3 scale. There actually are tiny veins in the ear, they just didn't show in the pic. Missed you at Tulsa this past show Jay. I got a shock this time around. :)

Mike...you would do it justice. Still hammering away at Jabba (y)
