Those really are exceptionally good. Definitely worth the time you've put into them. Their poses look natural and their proportions are right, from the photos.
 
I got the pair primed over the weekend, but didn't manage much of anything else with them. So far today I have managed to apply the main colours prior to doing anything complicated, so the painting process has started at last.

Thanks though, I've managed some facial work before doing the school run, shopping, prepping dinner and opening a bottle of Brandy. Will revisit and improve it before posting hopefully tomorrow, for now drinking brandy and listening to the Doors, a good evening.

I gave up ironing many years ago, now it's only done for what we wear to weddings, funerals and other unwanted social occasions

Me too. Bugger that.
My suit from >30 years ago is tight around the waist, but still does occasional service at formal events.
Shirts are all that gets ironed on such days
