Hi all! My latest creation on a Metal Modeles mini. The starting piece is the "Fusilier-Grenadier Imperial Guard" (Ref. PV01), to which I modified the head, replacing it with the bonnet a poil. The headgear was also amended by deleting the "Imperial" and covering it with "milliput". I also added the little grenades (Historex pieces) on the code of dress. For the setting I used a portion of the wall of the "Nemrod-Historex".
I hope you enjoy it and see you soon!
Andrea

Great job, Andrea... as usual!
Your whites are perfect and I really like the grass green facings. The small details of your conversion work make all the difference in your figures.
Overall a very effective piece

Cheers
Colin

I’ve already registered a “like” for this but, on reflection, am not too comfortable with the size of the bricks… aren’t they a bit too large for the scale of the figure? Or were larger bricks available at this time in continental Europe than we’re used to? A brick should be 6.7mm long in 1/32, based on a modern (British) brick length of 215mm.
Perhaps I'm being too critical.

I chose this portion of the wall because it is part of the range "Historex-NCO" producing pieces in 1/32 scale, therefore perfectly compatible with pieces in 54 mm.

Sure, I understand. Actually, looking at them well, the bricks are perhaps a bit oversized....
Thanks!

What a lovely piece of work! I have a real soft spot for Napoleonic era figures because of the colour. Please excuse my ignorance but what scale is this please? At a guess it looks like 54mm but I may be wrong of course. Beautiful. Thanks.
