This is superb. I'm really enjoying following this build as with all your build Ivo.

Cheers

At last, the feather/plume making technique. This coupled with the fringe making technique, incredible. I very much enjoy following this SBS. Happy Easter Ivo.

Hi Jaybo

I did the job thinking to your request for the plumes... But stay tuned because I'm not really happy with the result

Feathers don't fly as I want as as the ostrich feathers do

No words I can say would do this justice, just stunning. Love the mounted Kettledrummers no matter whose army. Watched "Triumph of the Will" in Film class in college, and the only image I remember is a four or five second scene of a parade and a pibald drum horse prancing in step to the music from the mounted band, and the drummers beating of the drums. It stirs the cavalier in me, Iam sure it would for many here.

ok... in my last thread I said I wasn't happy about the feathers result...I restart them changing completely the techniques and returning to the copper sheet.

a very old system but still good...

over the copper I put some putty to give volumes to the feathers himself, the cloth of the drums has been cutted and repositioned
