Done some on this Highlander bust. Beard, hair and tartan are just blocked in, I think that the shirt needs some more tweaks, as does the leather.

Hi Carl ,
This is a nice bust , a classic infact , like what you are doing with this one , nice fleshwork and the shirt but like you say a little more needed to finish the work , nice touch with the chest hair as well .

Look forward to seeing more on this one

Carl, a great start , is that a bit of tartan I see on his left shoulder and am I correct in assuming he's a 1/10th scale. Following.

Cheers Ken

Nice work on this one Carl, i recognised the wall rendering in the background so knew it was yours straight away without reading the title :)

Steve

Thanks for the comments. Ken it's 1/10th and there is a little bit of tartan, so your right on both counts.(y) Steve, given away by my render, whatever next?:D
Carl.

excellent start, the leather actually looks pretty good to me maybe just another lighter tone in there to finish it, not much though.

Hi Carl
Nice bust with very Scottish looking face. Your painting is great, looking forward to seeing it finished. Skin tones and belt are spot on.

Very nice start on the bust of one of my forebears, their laddie, aye!
And I especially like the treatment of the weather worn belt. Very well done
and typical of your very quick yet skilled presentations.

Take care mate,

ricardo
