Just finished painting this JMD figure. As usual needs a bit of fine tuning after taking picture and i'll probably add to the groundwork.Added another picture showing the difference by fiddling about with the camera settings.I'm getting tooooo old for messing about with camera's ,so it's back to painting for me.

Hi Carl
I undercoated with Citadels Boltgun Metal and then used a mix of lamp black and burnt umber oils ,painted on then wiped off. When dry added highlights with printers ink and shading with lamp black.

Hello Brian!
Your figure is amazing! Thanks for the info about metallics, i will try in my next figure!
Can i ask you something please, what kind of colors did you use for the cloth ? for shading and highlights because i am working now on the same color and i really like your version.

Best greetings,
Dani

Well done! I have this one in my to-be-done drawer. I also use the brown/black oil paint treatment on metal kits, but I've never done it on a resin kit. Now I have to try.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Danis
I used a mix of red and green umber highlights were naples yellow and tit white, shading was done adding more green umber.Unfortunately i can't remember what red i used but it should get you results with any red.If you want a faded finished tone just add tit white and leave out the naples yellow.
