Funny thing you should say flame. The skin tone is kinda "flamy" to me, in a good way.

In the third picture, the border that divides highlight and shadow (obviously there are more than two layers but speaking in a broad sense here) is a little too visible. I know some like it that way as it does make the face more sculpturistic. But this might be at the cost of naturalism. It's ultimately your choice, of course.

Great eyes. Great mixture of warm skin tone colours. All the best and will follow closely.

Yes Willem nice start like the flesh tones and how the panzer black has been started.By the awy I have ordered the oval bases you are looking for tehy should be completed soonest.(y)

Thank you for all the feedback.

Michael: This is my 2nd bust. I tried my own mix and a different way of painting/blending. Getting closer to how I visualise the final product but still a lot of fine tuning to the method required.

Carl: Verlinden (#1448)

Pedro: The eye was painted with acrylics. The face was painted with oils over acrylics. The uniform is acrylics.

Rob: Hope to see you at the next meeting - my bases are running low :D
