I've managed to finish a couple more.
Five down, three to go.

'Bernardo O'Reilly' (Charles Bronson)

'Calvera' (Eli Wallach)

'Britt' is getting close to being finished, and I've just managed to make a start on 'Chris' and 'Vin'.
Both the last two have been slow getting to the priming stage.
'Chris' had problems with the fitting of the hat, while 'Vin' had some casting issues, which I've now managed to rectify (I hope).

The current status looks like this:-

I'm finally on the home stretch with this set.
7 down, with 1 to go.
Latest additions are:

'Britt' (James Coburn)

'Chris Adams' (Yul Brynner)

As usual, digital photography has darkened the actual colours considerably.

Just 'Vin Tanner' Steve McQueen to go.

Very nice painting Andrew, I bet you can see the light at the end of tunnel.

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment Bob.
There's still the neckerchief detailing to be 'fudged' before I can head for the 'light'.

Cheers,
Andrew

That is a great piece of work andrew, congratulations,it's the first set I've seen painted since its release, well done mate

Well done, nice work. I too am working just now on the Steve McQueen bust, I am going for a pinkish shirt for him though, he did seem to wear 2 different colours in film.

It wasn't just 'Vin' that had a varied wardrobe in the film. I think 'Chico' had an even greater variety of clothing.
Like you, I also started with a pinkish hue to 'Vin's' shirt, with my first coat, but then thought I'd gone to far, and toned-down the second coat.
Loved your version of Calvera. I wish mine could have been half as good.

Cheers,
Andrew
