Tried with natural Light and had to adjust the exposure via Iphoto as they were to dark .Most of the cave is dismantled including the lighting.

Im gonna need it ,her indoors is already moaning about the amount of stuff I have dumped in the other spare room and I haven't even emptied any of the drawers or the writing bureau which holds most of my modelling stuff:eek:

Great job Ron, is very nice...(y)

What is the scale?
Rodrigo it is 120mm and as Del says there is a lot of work in them even though this guy is all greatcoat ,would normally knock that coat out in an hour but this guy took all day and right into the evening just to cover the coat.

Hi Ron,that's an lovely piece of painting mate I like how you handled the dark blue trousers, not an easy colour to paint and get right but your result I'd very good,as someone already mentioned the name plate looks great, congratulations mate on a great piece if work.

PS - Don't be too long in your man cave, looking forward to seeing more of your work :)

Cheers Brian you are right that blue is a difficult one, these are big figures you think they would be easy but there is a lot of area to cover.

How did the show go .

Ron

Beautiful stuff mate.
The blue/grey of the uniform is stunning..Oils?
Your repertoire of figures just gets better and better.

Not manage Perth this year then?

Won't manage as I am in the process of ripping the man cave to bits ,thought it might be a quick process but a fair bit of work to be don
with the white wash brush .
Dave Mitchell,Brian Snaddon are coming up today and maybe Del

PS yea all oils as usual but sprayed with dullcote when dry

Beautifully painted Ron, great piece.
Good luck with the renovations too, don't dump the bits of asbestos anywhere near schools, hospitals or distilleries.
