Started this today. It's 120mm from MDC. I got this off Napoleon Peart.(thanks Kev.) Metals are oils over GW gunmetal.

No it's a fair likeness of Ned. Shame as you can't see him. I was toying with removing the helmet. So it could be optional, but it would be a bit of struggle.

Good start on this one Carl. I saw this fig at the Scottish Nationals on MDC's stand but opted for the fantasy viking instead. MDC do some unusual pieces that look interesting. Keep up the good work.

Very nice Carl

Youve brought out the metal great. I bought Kil gor and Balin (The two germanish pieces) at the Scottish nationals. I liked the look of Thorgrim but took me ages to pick. They got some great wee pieces.

Your treatment of metal is top notch, Carl!

I recommend a project for you:

Buy a full resin kit of a WWI armour vehicle. Build it with a few metal plates slightly bent (which is easy with resin). Then just do what you do here all over it. The sophisticated sense on highlight and shading of a figure modeller will make this piece stand out all right.

I am probably a little drunk.

Now that is something different, real nice job on those metals mate and they look well aged and realistic. Tell you what mate just as well he had that helmet on by the look of that grouping on his forehead :D
