Time to start another character bust from the 70's. So here is the start of Don Corleone. If the likeness is anywhere close I bet you are doing the voice, go on admit it.

Billy Thanks man
Huw Kind of you to post, thanks
Dan Thanks very much. The bust will be about 1/6th scale.

All the best

IMHO - I think you have gone a bit far and made a caricature of Brando...

Brando as the Don is a tough one to do - If I may I think you need to be a little more subtle. The attached photo is one that I picked up - Can't remember the manufacturer - they also do Deckard from Blade Runner...even this isn't perfect.

I am such a fan of the film and would gaga for any models on the subject...

Thanks for looking in and posting your thoughts. I don't make commercial models so this is where I look for feedback on my pieces. I suspect that even Brando would say that his portrayal is somewhat caricature. I am going for the look of refinement over a frightening and lawless personage and if caricature helps that message then I will go with it.

By the way - the way Mario Puzo wrote The Don in the book - he was a man without equal, he obeyed the laws in his world. He was not lawless - just at the top of his tree. He didn't get into narcotics because of his beliefs. He dealt with Woltz because he believed that no man could impose their will upon him...yet he was a man of rationality.
