Geeeeee, let's see....what hasn't been said about this work of art already? Ahhhhhhh screw it! All of the above are TRUE! You my friend have just finished your best figure to date. Now here comes the hard part. How do you follow a beauty like this? I don't even want to buy the figure now (I still will ) but my God....how does anyone follow this figure like you have?! I dare say buddy, you have just set the standard for this piece of art sculpted by Mr. Bruno.
Again thanks guys.........this is really blushing time for me
Jim my dear friend I must single you out for this as you've put a LOT of BURDEN on my shoulders with your statement, but thank God it is your statement
Joking apart and IN ALL HONESTY, Danilo Cartacci has set the STANDARD for this figure (and for ALL other box arts he paints for that matter IMHO) and I've also seen a couple of pipers somewhere on the net (I really forgot from where I saved the pics) who have great potential as I presume they'll be at WNT next weekend, so the acid test for my Kenneth would surely happen soon
Please guys stop praising him I beg you, because then it is us, his clubmates at SSM that have to deal with him (when he's not on duty chasing robbers and serial killers!)!!!
Well joking apart, IMHO this is certainly Ray's best to date! You can feel the texture of the kilt's material and stitching. He will have to work very hard to beat his own standard with the next project, but I'm sure he will surprise us again. Well-done mate and safe trip to Valencia!
Stunning bit of figure painting Ray, everything just seems to harmonise beautifully, also i would like to compliment your photography which really shows of your work so well.
I have to go with the other Ray, the texture on the tartan is really something. Recreating the wool texture on the tartan really pushes things to another level. Well done!
