Some progress on the torso part.

Thanks all!
Some more results from yesterdays sculpting sessions on the arms.
Now it’s time to persevere on the small details like buttons, collar, cuffs, refining and cleanup…
The helmet and boots needs some detailing too.

Thanks Nap!
The little rod is just a prop. The baton will be one of the last things done.
Thanks for showing this picture. There is a series of photos of this particular squad. Great period photos.

Hi Robert

Fine update , that face works so well and you've brought it alive with the painting

The camo looks effective, good to see the steps you painted in

Will you push the highs on helmet ?

Hard to believe you achieve this level in the scale

Thanks for sharing

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

The helmets needs some highs, yes. But not too much because I want to keep the dark green tone of the helmet.

I love this thread and the unusual and diverse subjects you choose… and you work so fast, too (or at least it seems fast to me).

Such nice, interesting, pieces, and so much fun to watch you create them.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Rob! Very appreciated. I like to contribute to the forum and share my work.
I like to keep going with a project and see results. In fact I am pretty impatient. Too much time between modelling sessions is a big risk of losing interest. Being motivated, researching, some planning ahead and making flexible, relaxed and effective use of spare time besides family, work and other obligations makes me enjoy the hobby this way.

Some pictures of yesterday evening, first sketching in the folds and wrinkling in the trousers.

I like the in progress shots of the camo jacket being done, very helpful. Why did you blackline the seams before adding the brown colour rather than after?

You are a machine. I did not expect paint today as you were sculpting Monday. It looks really good.

Thanks Todd!
I had some extra spare time this week….

Amazing work, and you are so prolific!

Thanks Nigel! Hope to see a new project of you soon,

Primarily I do the the lining for marking the borders for the camouflage. Second it works good for me because I don’t have to blackline afterwards with much chance to mess it up.

Some in progress pictures.. working on the base. A simple street from bluefoam cobblestones and filling it with magic sculpt. And some work on the baton: just a piece of paperclip wire thickened with superglue and sanded and polished..

Absolute cracker Robert.
Really admire this figure & action you’ve bought into his pose.
Dramatic & another lovely figure to bring to your portfolio.
You thought of doing some vignettes perhaps?
