Hi Geoff, hope our little detours didn't distract too much

The end result is great, makes the best of what looks like a nice sculpt.

It will be interesting to contrast with Jeff's yellow-yellow version when he's done it (mojo allowing).

BoL with the Baron,

Neil

Hi Neil, Nothing to worry about Neil, I suppose we should have done it on a different chat page but it gave people something different to read.

Yes I am very pleased with him and the way he turned out, and I shall be watching with interest Jeff's version.

The Baron is a nice sculpt and cleaned up well, I'm wondering how I can get something to look like feathers to go around his Tricorne but that won't stop me getting on.

Cheers for now before we get carried away again:LOL:

Well, I suppose you could try these?

I have sometimes used 'real' materials in my models (eg my Mum's hair for a horses tail and mane :)) but it somehow seems outside many modellers' expectations (I have been toying with the idea of furry fabric for bearskins etc).

Hi Neil, I have some furry fabric I was going to use with 1/35 figures at one time, but was wondering how it would take paint, it's gold and I want it white, will have to try it...… now where did I put it????

The feathers link looks good.

Cheers
Geoff
