The end result is great, makes the best of what looks like a nice sculpt.
It will be interesting to contrast with Jeff's yellow-yellow version when he's done it (mojo allowing).

I have sometimes used 'real' materials in my models (eg my Mum's hair for a horses tail and mane ) but it somehow seems outside many modellers' expectations (I have been toying with the idea of furry fabric for bearskins etc).
Just adding a clip from Dempsey's book of Napoleonic foreign/mercenary troops ref the colour:

That is a nice finish Geoff. I must have missed a bit but I like the colour of the jacket. Superb.
Thank you Bob, I am really pleased with him and he started a good discussion ref. tunic Colour, so is it correct or not? I'm pleased with it so that's what matters.
