Outstanding as always, Geoff - I like the furniture & metalwork on his musket.

Hi Geoff,

Looking good... and I promise, no more birds or cameras (I'm still working on the 1940s matchboxes).

Neil

*except that mine is a FZ150 ;)

Excellent painting Geoff. What colour mix did you finally use for the chamois jacket?

Many thanks Guys the mix was all Vallejo MC, 914/119 Green Ochre with just a touch of 983/143 Flat Earth and then lighten with 918/005 Ivory.

Cheers

Thanks Mate, just a bit of dry-brushing over the red which had had the Citadel Earth Shade wash treatment.

Cheers

Beautifully done, Geoff.

Expressing a personal preference, in spite of all the comments about the nature of the colour, I think I’d go for the yellow-orange sported by the re-enactors when time comes for me to paint my Chronos figure.

Thank you Jeff, that's it it's your model you paint him the colour you like.

I must admit that I am pleased I changed my mind in the end and painted it in the more paler colour.

Will be great to see yours when you get around to doing him.

Geoff

Thanks, Geoff. Until very recently I lost my mojo and hadn't painted any figures for about 18 months. Now I’m back into it, I’ll certainly post pics of my efforts, but taking photos is, for me, the hardest part of the hobby!

Pleased to see it has returned, as regards taking pic please try to take them with a plain background, even a brown bit of card, to me nothing looks good when there is a jumble of paint bottles, brushes, tools and everything else behind and around the model.

Looking forward to seeing your work.

Geoff

Finally finished.

Thanks for all your help with the uniform colour, the colour of Canary's, colour charts, camera and film data, etc

Cheers
Geoff

The next one arrived this morning from Matt at El Greco.

Thanks mate, It was good but got carried away, forgot it wasn't FB.

I've been wanting Munch for some time but when I was going to order it Matt had run so had to wait. He looks good, I've cleaned him up so just going to prime him.

Cheers
Geoff
