Nothing wrong to me with the Rangers one... but when did Celtic used such an abomination?!!:yuck:

Just winding up the Celtic fan on this site.......I think Celtic wore this in the early 90's
As for the Rangers strip of course there's nothing wrong with it........there's no such thing as a bad Rangers strip, subtle, refined, the Haute Couture of Football tops always intriguing always contemporary (y)

This is so typical of the Scottish way can't keep religion out of it and independence would make it worse,
and just for the rangers fan in this little discussion hail hail :)

Don't think you have upset anyone Pedro Scottish or English

This thread is really interesting - dont seems politic discussion really.(y)
I thought this was some kind of joke, but today when I reading an article in a PT magazine about it and although nothing has to do with the subject I would like to leave my opinion here. Hopefully some of the Scots and English friends who are upset with me do not take this into wrong way?!
Well, I think the division after so many years will not be good for anyone, divisions create another type of situations that can trigger some threats in the region as previously written here and everyone knows what happened to the Republic of Ireland in recent years...
I think Scotland should remain loyal to the crown, imo would gain more benefits for his people, separatism should be avoided, will not be good for the future of your kingdom as we know the world today.
Scotland continues to have separate state and jurisdiction for purposes of international law. The right and the Scottish education system, as well as the Church of Scotland, have allowed the continuation of Scottish culture and national identity since the Union in 1707.
This dissolution will benefit the usual suspects.
Think about that!
I hope that makes sense, sometimes i´m lost in translation.

Cheers and all the best!!!
Pedro.

Pedro your a star!!!! What you've just written is about the most intelligent and well informed comments i've seen so far.It takes somebody like yourself, who resides outside this country, where you are looking in on the U.K. rather than being caught up with the daily rubbish we're bombarded with on a daily basis ,and using common sense have come up with IMO the correct solution. There's quite a few Scotsmen who would be informed by your comments.
You've just made my day!!!!
Brian

"Pedro your a star!!!! " no more brush stuff Brian. :D Hope to meet you in next Euro!

Cheers mate!

If Salmond gets his way, and Scotland becomes a Nuclear Free Country, after independence, then remember The Ukraine, because Putin will have his eye on you then. Faslane, and Rosyth, this end to go with Sevastopol the other end. Sorted.

We would not be Nuclear free ,the base is not just on the loch but built right into the surrounding hills bunkered up to the hilt ,there is nowhere in England that is equal to the purpose; some sort of deal would most certainly be struck watched over and guarded by the newly formed SVF :facepalm: and the SDF

I do think the whole affair is going to be a "close run thing"

We would never allow a foreign defence force,to guard our nuclear deterrent though Ron, which is what you have just suggested.

I thought that you was talking about a Scottish Defence Force, SDF, and a Scottisk Volunteer Force SVF, such as you would probably have if you got independence Ron.
