I've been painting these faces,as it's my favourite part of the bust.When i get round to painting the rest, is another story:)

Very good painting on the faces.
I can relate to that feeling. In fact, my motivation for painting my first bust was to see if I could paint a face well enough and today whenever I paint a bust is mainly because I want to paint a face. Don't know why it is, but maybe it's because of the effort needed to achieve a good result. I take a long time to do it.
Despite that, I think that you should finish the work on those fellas ;)

Sorry, mate ! The luminosity you achieve is great. I've been experimenting with different mixes (and brands of paint ), as I've always preferred oils. At this stage of my life, I find that an old dog can be taught new tricks ;):happy:. Been having a somewhat unsatisfactory period with flesh painting lately. Yours is an inspiration.(y)

Cracking painting on both as sk ways , like the Reiver

Recently I have been painting tge uniforms first on busts and then he faces ..can't make my mind up !
