Pet shops , are dangerous places mate!! whats Ron Done with the Guinea Pig? just hope it dosn't involve
a security search!

I tried to buy a brush from Escoda, Roun pointed Versàtil S/H, but the shipment cost for PT is 17 euros:sorry: and the minimum order is 15 euros.:(
I explain to the site manager I just want one to test and make a video to post here and after that send to other mate who has interest in knowing the product... and so on.
Let´s see what happen!

Cheers

They're fine for basecoating but NFG for fine detail work... They won't keep a point and they tend to squirm at the worst moment (usually when doing braiding or eyes).

Colin

That sums it up perfectly Colin re synthetic brushes ;some things can't be bettered fender-deluxe-players-stratocaster-3-tone-sunburst.jpg

You see pmfs from Portugal, your a great campaigner for animals rights but for the sake of 32 euros you hesitate.
I wouldn't harm any animal and would hope that all animals are given a reasonable life and death but unfortunately in the real world that doesn't always happen.I realise your an idealistic fellow but we're not living in an ideal world.I hope you come up with the solution of finding a brush that is as good as a series 7 W&N but i very much doubt that there's any on the market to rival them at the moment.Maybe, Da Vinci or Isabey but they are sable too.

I'm curious how they hold with oilpaint and the thinner.
It's hard to see from your supplier what the size is from the brush if you wanna order one.

Hello Marc!
Diameter 1.43mm / Lenght 10mm highly identical to those you're used.
Here!!! It seems that will work better in oils...I suspect that!

Well they do look good ,but I see they try to retain the name Kolinsky ,will be interesting to see if they hold their point as most synthetics bend after one session

Hi Ron!

Will see about that. If we follow the advertisement is Escoda website, artist testimonials say positive things about the product...

Well the post and package are great. € 17,- for sending to the Netherlands.
That will bring them to the highest priced brushes.
I'll wait for the comments from the guys who are using them.

Marc, I wrote them yesterday because of the post and packing... today I received a msg with price changing: shipment to PT only 6 euros.
It seems there is a mistake and for Netherlands have to be almost the same value.

Cheers
