As everyone, I love the skin scheme, pale and intensive!!!
Really outstanding and unusual choice for the clothes, I'm for!!!!Certainly, it will make talk about during contests
Perhaps pink makes your warrior a bit "precious"...."The gay celtic warrior against hordes of well bodied roman legionnaries" hi hihi!!!!

Despite everything, this is exactly what I love in miniatures: being oneself, never copying, but finding the perfect way between hitorical reality and originality!!!!
Big love for that piece....
I'm waiting impatiently for the shield!!!!what sort of pattern?????

Thanks Lord.B , Steve and Hikaru. Still not decided what to do with the sheild yet, hope to make a start on it this week.As for the pink trousers ,I like to think that they are very faded red.

Hi David,

the colour selection is simply excellent! That's what I'd think it looked like in real (knowing nothing about the subject), also like the amount of detail painted still keeping it simple, look forward to see it finished, I guess the shield will be the sugar on the top!

Saw this almost completed figure last night and it is a stunner. Dave is still working on the shield but the rest is another piece of his excellent work. Shield is beginning to look like a winner and I am sure when completed it will be a wonderful figure.
By the way the "pink" trousers are great and his cloak is a work of art on its own.

celt standard bearer update

Hi Guys just finished painting the sheild design, hope you like it tried to keep with the muted tones. Just the sword to complete and this one will be finished.
