I'm making a little progress, although not as I wish, as I'm finding it difficult to get time to spend at the bench.
I've been working on the leather using oils to add a different texture, think it needs a bit more work.
For a fun I thought I'd burnish the pommel and hilt of the sword and polished with the grate polish to see how it would look,
personally I think it works ok. Also some basic work has been done on the cloak before its fitted into position.

The cape seems to me to be very very well painted. For the bottom of the pedestrian, it seems to me that the dirt is too straight and the separation between the clean area and the "dirty" area is too pronounced.

Looking good - I like the start on the cloak, it looks like you have some nice texture going on there......

Thanks Nigel, I've been doing some more work on the cloak, and there's still more to do. Still figure is certainly producing some challenges for me.

Thanks Bran, you're quite right, it doesn't look right, I tried to replicate something I'd seen in a film, I will be correcting that.

I've been concentrating on adding further detail to the leather belts trying to make them look worn.
For the Scabbard I've opted for a NMM finish, something I'm not an expert on, but I think it looks ok at the moment.
The Scabbard has been cemented in position, although more detail needs adding.
For the purpose of the photo, I've rested the cloak in position, and when I do get it place permanently, it looks like I'm going to have fun fitting the arm.
