That is a very good question Simon and one I've been pondering. I think the answer is, rebuilding Historex kits. I'm just a plastic modeller really, I like the whole process of buying a kit and starting with a bunch of parts and building something out of them. For me, Historex is the only company that allows for loads of creativity yet you still start with a kit; getting a bunch of parts in a bubble envelope from Dover is just *much* more exciting that buying two tins of MagicSculpt. I made the artillery man out of curiosity really to see if I could make a figure from scratch and I may do more but in general I think it's Historex or bust for me.Oh that's rather remiss of me I totally missed this update, D'Ho! Coming along really well but with the amount of work you've put into it that's no surprise.
Out of interest which is better for you, remaking a Historex kit or going the whole hog yourself and scratch building?
Cheers Simon
