It's looking great. Will be interesting to see it with paint on.
A query about the horses - you mentioned inserting a filler between both halves. Just the width of the base Historex supply or wider? I use a 10 thou spacer for heavy cavalry horses. Cheers Huw
Great to see all those fine precision parts coming together....just so good, those mouldings. Some ticklish corners for the brush to reach Alan

Huw?
Hou much difference do you reckon there is
vis a vis a Historex base and a fillet of 10thou plasticard please?
Paul
God I've become a real saddo!!!
Don't worry Huw you're in good company here.
Quite simple really one is octagonal in shape (Historex base) and the other can be in any shape...
I think a Historex base is slightly wider by about 5-10 thou. If anyone has a micrometer (that measures small gaps, thicknesses etc Paul and isn't anything to do with drinking or being naughty) to measure it that might be interesting.
God I've become a real saddo!!! Cheers Huw
Damn, what an ambitiously cool project !

Volunteered? More like recruited, ok, I'll spray on the primer ! Joe
Paul,
All this work is mind boggling, I have had men with white coats at the door for less. Good on yer! Regards Bob. (If the men in white coats call round, I'll give you a reference )
