As has been said, the ordinary people will properly be the ones to suffer most, if it's a yes vote, but they'll be the same people who would probably vote yes.
Will there be animosity? Of course there will be,especially if a yes vote has a detrimental impact on my family.
I've got a very close family, and one of my sayings i've used is, if you fool with my family, then your fooling with me.Can't put it much plainer than that,so i'm not about to be all pally wally with someone who has voted yes, and the outcome has repercussions for my family.I apologise for my language but that's the way i felt about expressing myself. The sad thing is ,it won't have much ,if any, impact on me personally, but i worry for my families sake
Look after your own family first and foremost.Isn't that what fathers and grandfathers do?
Brian.

Brian you can't use an adult word on here even if you do cover it with symbols, we still know what you are saying.

That's the one I used the other day and got my wrist slapped, but quite rightly so, I am not complaining, just a tongue in cheek jibe at you Moderators who do a fine job at keeping us all in order.

I don't really see any difference, the word is in the English Dictionary. It's on TV every day. No longer do most people shake their heads when it's used. Cameron even used it in an abbrieviated form during a political speech the other day when he referred to the Effing Tories. He should have used the correct word as we all knew what he meant. I don't like censorship, but if that is how Planet Figure has decided to conduct itself then I will abide by those rules, and accept your correction Colin that you admonished me with all in good part. Directive or not, sometimes plain speaking does put a point across rather well, and Puritism has never been one of my strong points. However I will endeavour not to use the word in any shape or form in future, and trust that you will ensure others do the same.

Guy's! ..;)

Sorry Colin, I have no gripes with you but surely the same rules apply to all, to me the above post aimed at Waterman is personal. From what I can see it wasn't in response to anything, I would like to see it deleted, the said post that is, like others have been.

I will leave it to the owner/admin to decide what to delete in this sorry string. Perhaps it's better this blows up now rather than in 48 hours when the referendum results are in and emotions really get crazy.

Colin

I apologise Colin, as i realise i was out of order and got a bit carried away.I've edited my post to suit.
I understand that there should be some censorship on this forum ,as where would we be if it was a free for all:)

Colin I thought I had grown up when I said I was ignoring him. My thread was not even directed to him so why did he get involved? It was in response to Brian, who I had no problem with in his original wording. Just a bit of humour, that , had it been possible to deliver face to face, instead of the written word, would have been seen for the Banter it was. I know that you are a Canadian Colin and perhaps thats how you do things over there, but I do take an exception when you tell people to Grow Up, I don't know whether you mean to come across as a schoolmaster, but that is the way it seems to me. You are the Moderator, fair enough, i respect you for the position you hold, but I think you should perhaps advise rather than lecture , after all we are not here to be spoken down to, even if I do cross swords with a certain individual , for which I did apologise to you at the time, but you saw fit to delete my apology, perhaps to bring everything to a close. Rant Over.

Ex schoolmaster now. Hope you appreaciate the style of whoever steps in. BTW - the comment was not directed at you alone Waterman.

Cheers

Colin
