A new project in the works based on Waterhouse’s painting “The Magic Circle.” Working with a 1/24 Preiser Eve and Aves to get the shapes down. Let’s see if I can sculpt the clothes…

Working out the size and shape of the base. The foam and pen are just stand ins for greenery and the column of smoke I have yet to fabricate. I’m dreading getting into properly sculpting the fabric folds. My hats are off to all the true sculptors out there!

Have you podered about using cotton? It's what is usually used to mimick smoke, so it might work with the steam.

Almost ready for paint. I need to modify a few of the crows, and figure out the flowers for her belt and the base. The dress needs a little refinement.
