Hi Malc it’s looking very nice indeed the boots are a nice touch in oils. The trousers have worked out well too. It’s looking like it’s going to be a very nice vignette which is a pleasure to see. So happy your enjoying it .

Hi Malc, good start to the scene it’s going to look good when done.

Snik, it will be with you very soon, looking forward to seeing what you do with it too.

Rob, it will definitely be a colourful set, it’s in 75mm but we also sell it in 120mm. The 120mm is very impressive when put together it’s certainly makes a nice centre piece.

Thanks, we know now were they are coming from ;) ( not always easy to guess who has done what among the > 1000 actual makers on the market )

Hi Mirofsoft happy to be of service to you, it’s easy to get lost among the vast array of manufacturers out their. So we make it easy for people to know who does what. (It seems to be working )

Yes our caster Juan Macon, did a great job on this set.(just some info on who does the casting on these) credit where credit is due.

Malc is doing a great job on this set we are all likening the SBS. So good to see what people do with your product and how they approach the colours they are going to use.

I'm happy to announce the first pirate is now finished, and I can now concentrate on Captain Morgan. (not the rum, well not until later. :D)
I've added a little more work to the boots, to make them look a little bit more worn and scuffed.
My intention was to do the scabbard dark brown, but it rather got lost in the trousers, so I altered it to black.
Then finally added the sash and again tried to give the appearance that it had faded towards the bottom.

Had Rum and Coke for breakfast on holiday.
Drinking rum before 10.30am doesn't make you an alcholic,..... it makes you a pirate. :D
I have that on good authority.
Really enjoyed painting this one from start to finish. Captain Morgan is underway.

And taking Coke that early made of you an actor ????????????????????;) I have that on good authority, a police Captain :D

I used to do my best painting when I was drinking. For some reason, I got better, when I quit drinking!

Malc, this is want me to spend more money on figures. I don’t need any more figures.

Mike, but think what your missing.
At the start of the year, I said no more kits, and then this was released.
And if TFB keep releasing things like this, I won't be saying no. :D

I'm not knocking other manufacturers, but I haven't had this much fun painting in a while.

Malc

Hi Malc, thank you for the complement most kind of you. Well I’m sure some of our future projects will keep your brushes busy for a long time to come.
