Yep, I'm finding the same... clearly feathers aren't designed to curl over in the way we want
Give the spray a go and see what happens.
However, the feathercraft/millinery sites say they'll curl along their long axis, so I think they may well do the trick for Nap's Zulu
Interesting the way the feathers have formed ...dare I say the feathers might look better less ragged and with more body around the tricorne ? .........just my thought !
Zulu ...feathers .......an idea ....will see if there are any ostritch wandering around

Thanks Guys, the water treatment and hair spray worked OK and the they are bent over a treat.
I know the feathers should be formed the other way but to do that you would need 1/9th scale feathers, I shall be adding more feather bits now I have seen how it it looks and I have a base to work from. This is the first time I have tried anything like this and if I knew anyone with white chickens I would try to get some very small feathers from them, the big Ost. feather I have is not really the way to go.
